Dana Bucur in Romania, from Arges county to Ilfov, Ialomita, Calarasi, Constantza and Tulcea, Braila & Galati (1998 onwards)
Besides the broad AG experience built in Danube Delta Biosphere, Agriland 2000 through Dana Bucur was involved in building and developing vital AG hubs (farms) in many counties from the South and East of Romania such as:
- Arges
- Ilfov
- Ialomita
- Calarasi
- Tulcea
- Constantza
- Braila
- Galati
- Dolj
- Olt etc.
The early start was in 1998 therefore long time before 2007 (when Romania join EU) when different macroeconomic conditions with all its legal, social, cultural background etc.
The stages to build and develop a farm are:
- getting involved in the local rural community
- collecting land
- consolidation of land
- organizing the farm (the local work place)
- farming
- developing the farm (AG hub) by new tehnologies, ag mechanics, additional activities (livestock, hand-making workshops etc)
